The music, literacy, and language connection
Literally speaking--it's music. Repetition, rhyme, and exposure to a variety of sounds are defining qualities of both music and early language learning. Research also shows correlations between music ability and reading comprehension test scores.
This blog is dedicated to helping advocates, teachers, school administrators, and parents explain the importance of having music programs, like ABC Music & Me, in their schools.
